This week, we're joined by Carter Schoenberg, Vice President Cybersecurity & Chief Cybersecurity Officer for Soundway Consulting, to discuss the Department of Defense’s Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification program, recent changes in the new CMMC 2.0 release, and benefits and concerns regarding CMMC requirements. Carter also discusses cybersecurity issues that the White House and Congress could help with. Carter is a CISSP and has over 27 years of combined experience in criminal investigations, cyber threat intelligence, cyber security, risk management, and cyber law. He has worked closely with DoD officials and the contracting community on the CMMC framework for cybersecurity requirements for DoD contractors.
