Jerry and Jody interview Riddhiman Das, CEO and co-founder of Triple Blind, about the role that tech solutions might play in protecting privacy, while simultaneously facilitating the use and sharing of data for business and research purposes. We explore how financial, medical, and other data can be shared without revealing the identity of the data subject or permitting reverse engineering to discover it. We also examine how advanced encryption technologies can enable the policy objectives that legislators and regulators are driving toward, and how use of these types of technologies might be handled in national privacy legislation. Triple Blind is a company that provides a data sharing solution that promotes the private and secure exchange of data. Das has worked in corporate venture capital and M&A for Ant Financial, a financial services member of the Alibaba Group. He has spent most of his career in leadership and technical roles in software and product development in startups, academia, and consulting across a variety of industries, including fintech, digital identity, mobile payments biometrics, and security. He was awarded a 2013 White House Champion of Change by President Barack Obama.
